| Facilities | The school is attached to the Ferryboat House care home and has 2 teaching rooms. The school is well resourced and equipped with access to a computer for each child and the internet. Teaching is done using a variety of delivery methods and children are encouraged to work on real life project e.g. gardening, cooking for the staff and other residents, carpentry and do it yourself. Children attending the school may have complex issues (emotional, behavioural, special learning difficulties). The staff are trained to support these children and to provide a safe environment with a curriculum tailored to meet each child's needs. The school covers the full Welsh Curriculum at KS3 and is able to offer Entry Level GCSE and GCSE in English and Maths at KS4. |
